“Concrete Prose is a personal project of artist Ewelina McClafferty that combines a passion for poetry and photography of concrete. This fusion is an attempt to capture the romance of the two art forms that have been part of her European upbringing. Born in Poland but raised in Sweden, she started writing poetry shortly after relocating to Lake Elsinore, a small town about an hour outside of LA. Years passed and her writing halted while pursuing a career in IT. She recently relocated to the East Coast, just outside of Philadelphia, where she now lives with her husband and 2 cats, Spoot and Amelia. Currently working as a web designer at American Reading Company, she is also the sole proprietor of Redsawdust Productions, a creative studio specializing in brand, print and web development.
