Virago has officially CLOSED at 620 S. Broad St. Lansdale, Pa and is now in the process of moving to 322 1/2 W. Main St. Lansdale, Pa. We will let everyone know as soon as possible when we are open (we are planning for July 1st.) Wish us luck!!!

Hello all ye Virago Fans! We have some very important news to tell… MOVING DAY is set!!!

Virago’s final date at 620 S. Board St. in Lansdale, PA will be June 17 2010. We will be temporarily closed from June 18th til (have your fingers crossed) July 1st opening at 322 W. Main St. in Lansdale, PA; we hope to only be closed for two weeks.
If anyone wishes to order anything (Gluten Free bread, Vegan dessert or maybe classic scones) to hold you over until then, place your orders now because we our reducing our ingredients stock.

Virago Baking Company yet again attended Appetite for Awareness on Sept. 30th 2009 at the Wachcovia Center in Philadelphia, PA. This time we brought Gluten-Free and Vegan Gluten-Free “joy” cupcakes decorated with fun Mardi Gras colors using all natural coloring by Natures Flavors. Also we brought mini Gluten Free French Bread and Gluten Free Oasis Rolls with olive oil dip (good stuff!)

The event was jam packed with people and business for a night of fun, food, and awareness. Virago also made a Gluten- Free Triple Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Torte honoring the Binswanger family,which was shared and enjoyed by all.

Overall the event was a great success, the food made by all the business was wonderful, the people were great and we had a fabulous time. Luckily we got out of there just before the big herd of Philly fans came charging out of the stadium after a big win. We look forward to Appetite for Awareness every year; we can’t wait to do it again and bring something new for everyone to try!
